Welcome to my online store, where you can find all of my crafts for sale.

Welcome to my new online store. I feature a wide variety of  crafts for sale on this site. Most items are handcrafted by me, with a few items made by my mom and grandma. All items are crafted with care and detail in a smoke free environment.
Please feel free to message me with any questions you might have about an item. If you would like more details or dimensions please let me know.
I accept payment through Paypal as well as cash or check with local pickups. I live in the Blue Springs area and would love to meet up with friends and family for any items you purchase.
Most items on this site ship FREE! I use USPS for shipping. If an item will cost to ship I include this information in the item description.
I have been selling items on Etsy for the past 5 years. I have opened this shop in addition to my Etsy shop to list all of my random crafts that I have made over the years.
I hope you enjoy looking around and please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Erin Johnson

I am currently working on adding crafts for sale to this site. It will be a work in progress. I hope to really work on it over the next week and have it up and running soon. I am very excited to introduce this new part of my crafting business and want it to be easy to use and of course, fun! It's taking many, many hours to do but it will be worth it to have all of my crafts visible for you to purchase. I do have an Etsy site that I love, however, I don't want to have to pay to post all of the little odds and ends items I have. Thank you for taking a look today, and please let me know if you have any questions at all.

Erin J.

You'll find posts about being a wife and a mostly stay-at-home mom that loves to cook and craft!

This post will be quick but I just wanted to show you what I've been up to the past couple of nights. I have done the bare minimum of housework and spent a good chuck of time in my craft room.

Here is the purse that I finished last night. I really like this print. And i've got more fabric like this except it's green with pink flowers.
Picture
I also started working on this purse last night and it's going to be SO CUTE when it's done.

I went to Hobby Lobby today after work. I always see flower arrangements in magazines and think it looks so cool and simple. I think I'm going to paint some different artwork for this wall or put up a mirror.
Picture
These only cost me about $7 dollars to make! $4 for all the flowers (1/2 price) $1.25 for the foam balls, and a couple dollars i guess for the mason jars.
Picture
While at Hobby Lobby I bought this cute fabric and ribbon. Honestly i could've bought a whole bunch of cute fabric!

And, instead of finishing my zebra striped purse, I made this: a kid's apron, and it's ADORABLE!

That's all I've got. It's been such a good night and I enjoy what i do. Now I"ve got to go love on my doggies. They are so good! I've got them trained to stay completely out of my craft room. Good boys!!

I love decorating the children's area bulletin board. It is so much fun. Who knew I'd get to do what i love at my job!! I'm enjoying doing this bulletin board because it is changing with the seasons. Check back later for my Thanksgiving and Christmas board. I even have a Lost Worm poster on the tree. I move Wilson the Worm around every week and the kiddies love looking for him. And apparently the Teen Read kids have secretly been "helping" me move Wilson around. :D

So, it has been a very wonderful birthday. Although i do have to admit it started off a little hectic sleeping in a little to late and trying to do too much before i had to go to work. Also my puppy is sick with bacteria/parasite infection. (Dave took him to the vet today and he got some stuff to make him feel better.)
I went to lunch with my mom-in-law at 54th Street on my lunch break. I love that restaurant, it's so good. And when I got back to work i walked in to see a beautiful vase full roses sitting on my desk. My WONDERFUL husband dropped them by to surprise me when i got back to work. I love red Roses. So they sat on my desk all day and I got to smell them and think of my hubby.
And so, after work my mom took me to a bread making class at her friends store A Thyme for Everything. It is such a cute store for anyone that loves to bake, there's also coffee, chocolate and tea and such cute cookware and tableware.
Anyways, the bread class was wonderful.  Judith Fertig showed us how to make bread dough that doesn't need kneading, can stay in your refrigerator up to nine days and can make so many different breads. We got to try Batard, Tomato and Basil Focaccia, and Apple Pull-Aparts. SO YUMMY!! It can also make boule, baguettes, pretzels, loaf bread, flatbread, fougasse, breadsticks, pizza dough....My husband is going to love me. Maybe i'll post on some of the breads i make. For my birthday my mom bought me Judith Fertig's cookbook 200 Fast & Easy Artisan Breads. Can't wait to try some of the recipes.I even got to have here sign it. So, it was an awesome class and a great end to my birthday.
LUCKILY, my birthday isn't over. I get tomorrow off, Dave's off tomorrow and he has told me he is taking me on a SHOPPING SPREE! How many husbands would do that with their wife? We get to hang out all day, I get to go shopping( I hardly ever shop surprisingly!) and my husband is awesome. How'd i get so lucky?

I spent the majority of the night in the kitchen baking. Since my husband is a huge bread lover i decided I should try and make some fresh, yummy bread. I mixed up some batter for a light wheat bread loaf, and it's now sitting on my counter doing its magic (I only hope that in the morning it's double the size, cross my fingers!) And since my husband also loves cookies I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies (I even doubled the batch!) -Don't know why I'm spoiling him so much. The cookies are so delicious (good thing I've got pretty good self-control). Would you like to know my secret ingredient that makes them so yummy? Add in just a little bit of Almond Extract. Makes them taste a little sweeter. So now I've got bread dough on the counter, cookies in a container, and even more cookies in the freezer,, and oh yeah, dishes in the sink. Happy baking, nothing beats home-made!

And here are some pictures from our camping trip last weekend to Crowder State Park. It's a nice, quiet park (with nice restrooms and showers, that's important right?) We went with four other young married couples from our church. Camping is so relaxing, I love it.

So I was perusing the aisles at the library, and it is so amusing to see all of the different diet books! WOW, a diet of every kind! I only wonder which ones actually work. Here are just a few of the titles I saw on our shelves (I'm sure there's a million more!)
  • The 4 Day Diet
  • The 3-Hour Diet
  • The Beauty Diet
  • The Flexitarian Diet
  • The Instinct Diet
  • The Reverse Diet
  • Thin People Don't Clean Their Plates
  • Flat Belly Diet
  • Perfect Body Diet
  • The Feel Good Diet
  • The Good Mood Diet
  • The Snack Factor Diet
  • Never Say Diet
  • No Fad Diet
  • The Cheat to Lose Diet

And a final note: make sure you tell someone you love them today, it could make their day a whole lot better.

(A blank canvas)
(Everything's moved in)
(I unpacked some of it...)
(...then packed it in the closet and another room)
(Because we're painting my craft room!)
And I'm am so excited to have it painted! My husband is the sweetest guy ever, this is the first room in the house that we are redoing. He's in the picture on the left and my dad is helping too (he's on the right). This is as far as we have gotten, Just painting the trim white. The paint i picked out for the walls is orange and pink, it's going to look so good! I cannot wait to have my craft room all put back together so i can start making more things!

Mmmm,,,, who doesn't like fresh fruit and fresh basil? Bananas, Apples, Strawberries, Blueberries. They are all so yummy! I'd have to say they are my most favorite thing in the world. Even when i was younger the one thing i knew i wanted at my wedding was fresh fruit and maybe a chocolate fountain. Well, we didn't have a chocolate fountain but we had chocolate covered strawberries! Yumo! My friend made them, and some of them even looked like tuxedos.  Anywho,,, fruit is so good and healthy and such a great snack! I love to mix my strawberries and blueberries with yogurt, super delish.

And as for the basil, it was a gift from a friend and i'm having the hardest time keeping it alive, it's kinda droopy and the leaves are turning brown. Hmmm.... but i do love using it in dishes i make like spaghetti and soups. So good!
